The Benjamin Rose Institute is a nonsectarian health and
social service agency providing a range of services to senior
citizens, their families and caregivers, as well as conducting
landmark gerontological research. In-home care services range
from domestic assistance to nursing care and mental health
counseling. The Benjamin Rose Adult Day program provides
adult day services for older persons with cognitive and functional
impairments, as well as therapeutic group sessions for older
persons with mental illness. BRI also supports The Margaret
Wagner Apartments, which are 24 units of affordable senior
housing in Cleveland Heights. Benjamin Rose is proud to support
the internationally esteemed
Margaret Blenkner Research Institute (MBRI), whose research
findings are used to design new, innovative services implemented
by The Benjamin Rose Community Services Division, along with
several other organizations serving the elderly. Reaching
some 2,500 clients annually with more than 45,000 visits
and contacts, The Benjamin Rose Institute is preparing itself
for a second century of service to Cleveland's seniors.
