AFP Announces 2009 Scholarships

AFP Cleveland will be offering scholarships for:
 
Membership Scholarships
AFP will also provide eight (8) full membership scholarships.
Applicants must demonstrate a financial need and desire to join AFP as an active member.
Those who are selected to receive a membership scholarship must then serve on an AFP committee.  
 
Please submit a letter conveying your current job position, your fundraising experience, and you and/or your organization’s need for scholarship assistance via e-mail.
 
Deadlines: July 1, November 1
 
 
International 2010 Conference - Three (3) $1,000 available through AFP Cleveland
This provides $800 towards travel expenses plus the registration fee, which is covered by AFP National Foundation
 
Chamberlain Scholarship ($800 available through AFP National)  The scholarship is available to individuals who have never attended an AFP International Conference.  Complete information can be found on the AFP national website, in the Chapter Resources section of the Member Gateway (Note: you must be logged in to the Member Gateway to access the hyperlink).
 
The International Conference will be held in Baltimore in April, 2010. The scholarship requires the individual be an active member with service on an AFP committee. Winners will be asked to share their experience and report back to AFP board and membership on the highlights of the 4 day conference.
